GW Instek introduces the GPT-15012, a high voltage DC electrical safety tester. This model complies with the IEC 61010-2-034 standard, which specifies the safety requirements for electrical measuring, control and laboratory equipment. Safety and design
When designing high voltage and insulation resistance test and measurement instruments, the software and hardware interfaces must meet strict requirements to ensure that users receive sufficient protection and warnings during the use of said instruments. The GPT-15012 is particularly suitable for testing the safety of various high voltage insulation products, such as energy storage and photovoltaic components, high voltage relays, and wires and cables.
Ease of use and features
The GPT-15012 is equipped with a 7-inch TFT LCD colour screen, ensuring easy operation and clear observation of test results. The device is in line with the user-friendly design style of GPT-10000 series. Important test functions include DC dielectric voltage testing (DC 12kV/10mA) and insulation resistance testing (DC 50V ~ 5000V/50GΩ max.).
Advanced specifications
This tester offers excellent output voltage resolution, with a measurement resolution of 0.1 μA (DC resistance voltage) and 0.1MΩ (insulation resistance). Furthermore, the voltage ramp-up and ramp-down time settings are adjustable, and users can set the upper and lower limits for test results. The GPT-15012 is also suitable for large capacitance testing (up to 47uF), such as in surge protection and EMC/EMI prevention components.
